Education in China

Recently I read a book about a Chongqing province’s student’s education in America.It is said that in America, you can attend “College Entrance Examination” six per a year. The best result will be sent with the enclosed introducing-letter to the college you want.On the country in China, one examination decides your whole life. In foreigner country grade means nothing, but in China grade means everything.

But why are we study? What are we study for? Do we stay in school for twelve years just for an examination? What is the real meaning for studying? Majority ofChinese students have never thought about it, they just prepare for the final examination not the knowledge.

I’ve ever seen a movie named”3 idiots”. In the movie, most of students go to a famous college because of it is famous. It is just like present-day China

Researches why students go to colleges in China shows that majority of students go to college just because everyone does that. But everyone has differentlife; we should arrange our future in advance. Maybe after you arrange it, you will find going to college is unnecessary.

On the other hand, we have to admit that cancel College Entrance Examination is impossible and unpractical. There are millions of students want to go to college every year. If we don’t have an official and strict examination to limit the account of students going to college, greedy and

bribery will be filled with education.On top of that, “College Entrance Examination” is the fairest ways, which decidestudents’ future.

In my opinion, we study for knowledge we don’t know. We explore the unknown but colorful world. We try our best study for perfecting our life, but not for money or honor. If you let yourself be perfect, success will catch you slightly.
