摘要：The present invention relates to a method for detection of medically relevantconditions in solubilized LBC samples. Said method does not rely on morphologicalparameters and makes use of biochemical non-cell-based analysis of the presence orabsence and or the level of marker molecule in the solubilized LBC sample. Thedetection of marker molecules is carried out by detection of the presence or absenceand or the level of proteins, peptides, nucleic acids or fragments thereof. Suitable markermolecules comprise any marker molecules characteristic for medically relevantconditions. The method may be applied to any medically relevant condition.
