摘要：Disclosed is a water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion composition which contains an oil-soluble ultraviolet absorber having a low solubility, and has good sense of use and alsoan excellent ultraviolet absorption ability and stability. The W/O emulsion composition ischaracterized by comprising (a) an aqueous dispersion of an oil-soluble ultravioletabsorber, (b) a polyoxyalkylene modified polysiloxane having a molecular weight of 2000or more, and (c) 5 % by mass or less of an ultraviolet scattering agent, wherein thecomponent (a) is contained in an internal phase. Component (a) is preferably an aqueousdispersion of composite particles of an oil-soluble ultraviolet absorber and an organicpolymer.
