摘要： Chewing gum manufacturing process reduces the formation of '' sugar points.'' The method includes producing a sweetener matrix in a mixer. Discrete particles of anon-molten gum base, for example, gum base pellets commercially available, are thenadded into the mixer. These two ingredients are mixed until a homogeneous mass isobtained. Preferably, the sweetener matrix does not contain more than 13% by weight ofmoisture when the gum base particles are added.
