摘要：The esp. carving ski has a running face (10) of three sections, which is waisted inlongitudinal direction. In the front (4) and/or the rear section (8), the running face isoverlapped by an additional running face section (24,28). The additional section, and esp.the central running face section (6), define a second running face (20) with a second waistsection with considerably larger radius of curvature. Main running face and additionalrunning face sections are adapted to each other, so that with a change in the carvingangle there is a corresponding change in the active radius of the waist section defined bythe running faces. Both faces have side steel edges (17,27,29) to define a 'side cut'.
