摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent a photosensitive body from being damaged at the time ofremoving jammed paper, by displacing a transfer paper supporting member to adrawback position separated from the photosensitive body by driving a supportingmember lifting device, when a transfer paper jam has been detected. CONSTITUTION:Acolor copying device for forming successively an image by a color toner onto the samephotosensitive body 4, offering the same transfer paper 9 to a transfer of plural times bya transfer paper supporting member 5 for turning forward and backward against therotational direction of the photosensitive body 4, and transferring successively a tonerimage on the photosensitive body 4, to the transfer paper 9 is provided with a supportingmember lifting device 30 for displacing the transfer paper supporting member 5 betweena contact position for coming into contact with the photosensitive body 4 and a drawbackposition separated from the photosensitive body 4. In this state, when a transfer paperjam has been detected, the transfer paper supporting member 5 is displaced to thedrawback position by driving this supporting member lifting device 30. In such a way, atthe time of executing a jammed paper removing work, damage of the photosensitivebody can be prevented.
